About Virtual Internships

Virtual Internships are web-based simulations that help students learn to think like scientists, scholars, artists, and workers in the real world do. They simulate not only the content that students are supposed to learn but also the ways of thinking – the epistemologies – that some groups of people use to solve problems.

Student Testimonials

"I love learning about cities... From being in [the Land Science Internship], I was able to explore the environmental, social, and developmental concerns of cities. I was able to see what was it like to sort of justify certain issues to make sure that I was able to satisfy the stakeholder."
